Japan is an incentive base and will need a ped neuro for 6 months as she is declared seizure free for almost 2 years in august. She is a cat 4 but currently under eval and possibly moved up to cat 3. We’d also like to consider Guam or England.

Any info at all would be a blessing and would help put my mind at ease a little,

Thanks very much.

It is possible in Hawaii because they do have a full military hospital. Japan could be but it can depend on where he will be stationed, major base like Yokosuka maybe, but other places not always. Uk is a small billet, most care it out in town so possibly not approved.

You don’t want Guam. Believe me, been there, done it, got the T-shirt.

Yokosuka and Kadena are both great places to be stationed. Far, far, far less crime, graffiti, filth and garbage than Guam.

We are currently stationed in Guam….. Please do not try to come here. Japan has an amazing hospital for small children and infants as does Hawaii. The USNH tends to be a bit backed up out here due to the fact that it not only is for the military, but also a lot of the locals have base privileges.

One of my friends had to get air lifted to Japan because of complications while she was giving birth and she has nothing but good things to say about the hospital in Japan. She said they were extremely kind and the quality of care was above par. I also have never heard a bad word about Hawaii.
