So what? What are you trying to imply? If it is that atheists are genocidal maniacs, then you are wrong. There is no religion (or lack of one) that has a monopoly on slaughter, all races, creeds and colours are just as guilty of barbarism as any atheist culture.

What a waste of effort that was – they were killed by commuists. Hitler was a Christian. How many people died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the only atomic attack ever but carried out by Christians. America has done it’s fair share of killing in the name of God during the last 50 years.

As I explained earlier, Christianity or Islam are competing ideologies in the Communist mind, and they must be dealt with to keep the illusion the Communist system has no competition for our attention.

Communists killed all manner of opponents, not just religious people. Even Atheists were killed by Communist states.

Another reason that so many people were killed in these purges compared to Christian purges of the 2nd to 18th centuries is the fact there are more people alive in the world today than have ever lived on the planet throughout all of human history. The percentages all match up when you compare population size to massacre size.

I am not a communist or murderer, and never said that atheists are angels.

I do however challenge the veracity of your figures – e.g. The christians killed during the crusades wre in many instances killed by other religious groups.

Anyway you have failed to mention ww2, the middle eastern wars.

And of course what about the torture and executions RELIGIOUS people did to people who did something wrong back in the middle ages.

Some of those facts about the Atheists were Christian fights. Like the Vietnam ones, The dumb Americans who started that war were all Republican Christians.

I am an atheist, but I know that inhumanity is practised by people, be they atheists, believers in god, communists, or anything else. Religion is often used as an excuse or a reason for killing, but if there was no religion, people would find some other excuse. The way people behave is the very best argument agains the existence of god.

Communists killed any atheists too. There were communists involved in these killings who themselves were theists. The difference between atheists killing and religious killing is that atheism is a non-position, whereas religion purports to have a moral high ground.
