There are people like me who don’t believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible or the Christian God. What are your secular reasons against Civil Unions. Why should someone like me (an Agnostic) be against Civil Unions?

Btw, I was a Christian for most of my life and graduated from a Christian private school so I know a lot about the Bible; more than you think I might not know.
