I think everyone … I think everyone should live their life as they see fit. Kudos to you if you believe in Jesus, just please be mindful that there are people in the world who don’t need Jesus to feel safe and secure. I am one of those people. I am fine with just dying. I get why people want to believe in an eternity because it helps us feel better but so does the fact that we are all going to die and that such a fate is universal.

It’s nice to think … It’s nice to think there is an afterlife. I do it from time to time but it’s funny how I am more drawn to an unplanned afterlife than a planned one. I feel more connected to the spirits of my ancestors than to this savior entity to whom I honestly have little desire to know and little connection to.

Faith and … Faith and Spirituality is one thing but organized religion is another. Change is inevitable. As with the death of humankind, Christianity too will die for it cannot exist without believers. Not even Jesus can resurrect a man-made religion once his followers touch death.

The Hawaiian … The Hawaiian religion has lasted well over 1800 years in the islands of Hawaii before Christian missionaries and still continues to exist within those of us who continue to talk to our deceased loved ones, those of us who find comfort in peaceful meditations on the sacred grounds of our ancestors.

The fact that flesh … The fact that flesh cannot enter the kingdom of heaven does not justify the complete decimation of the Hawaiian people! And death is not something we owe – it is a punishment we must bare for not having obeyed God’s commands!

Your video is quite … Your video is quite heart felt and I am glad for those who have found Christ as their personal savior. But you seem to leave out the fact that the onset of missionaries not only bought with them the “Good News”, but also bought with them disease which decimated our people. Now, the native population decreases every second. It is estimated that by the year 2011, full-blooded Hawaiians will be no more.
